HB Heavy faced multiple and demanding challenges: diverse profile sizes, varying thicknesses, and a need for highly flexible equipment. Export orders further raised the bar, requiring precision tolerances as tight as ±0.1mm on critical components such as gears and drive shafts, alongside superior surface wear resistance to endure harsh working conditions.

——One Machine for Both Profiles and Plates
The company introduced KEBEI’s integrated profile and plate laser cutting machine, which combines the capability to process both structural profiles and flat plates in a single unit. This significantly streamlines HB Heavy’s production workflow, reduces floor space usage, and lowers labor costs. The machine supports profile cutting from 150×150mm to 1200×500mm, with cutting thickness up to 40mm, while flat plates can be cut up to 60mm—fully meeting the requirements for large component fabrication.
Moreover, the equipment integrates multiple processes such as cutting, drilling, and beveling. Drilling precision is maintained within 0.2 to 0.5mm, achieving a 100% one-pass hole formation rate and greatly enhancing production efficiency.

To address the processing of oversized structural parts, HB Heavy also deployed Kebei’s 30kW rail-mounted laser cutting machine. Featuring a ground rail bed design, this equipment ensures stability and precision throughout the machining process. Its ultra-large processing format and customizable cutting length provide ideal support for large workpieces, while the 30kW ultra-high power further boosts cutting speed and shortens production cycles.
